On Monday May 29 I was down in D.C. on other business and found out about this trial for members of Witness Against Torture, 85 of whom had been arrested in January 2008 during a civil disobedience action outside the Supreme Court. They marched in jumpsuits from the Supreme Court to the courthouse, and I snapped some pics for an article in The Indypendent written by one of the defendants.
34 of the defendants were eventually found guilty of "parading, standing, or moving in a procession or assemblage in the Supreme Court Building."
