Battle for the Xingupremiered at film festivals worldwide last year, now International Rivers Network is using it in their outreach and advocacy work around the impact of dams on indigenous communities, especially in the Brazilian Amazon. It was directed & produced by Iara Lee and George Gund, founders of Caipirinha Productions. After coming back from production in the Amazon, I also wrote this piece.
